In recognition of our long term relationship with Hong Kong based shipping company Pacific Basin, Dominion Salt Ltd have been honoured with the naming of their latest addition to their 200 strong fleet – Lake Grassmere.
On Friday, 30th of June 2023, Euan McLeish, CEO took part in this ceremony where Lake Grassmere was named and launched at Imabari Shipyard in Japan.
The Bulk carrier’s capacity is 39640t. Having departed from Osaka Japan, the vessel is currently destined for South America. Pacific Basin has assured Dominion Salt, Lake Grassmere will visit New Zealand’s shores soon.
