Packaging and stacking can influence the condition of pallets on arrival. Over the next few months we will be trialing different packs for Pacific Grade 23 and we will be seeking your feedback.
Over the past 12 months we have experienced some issues with our stitching machines in our solar refineries at both of our sites which has compromised our packaging and the quality of our product presentation. We are pleased to advise that we have installed a new double stitching machine at our Lake Grassmere site and in the New Year the same machinery will be installed at the Mount Site.
The new machinery will bring consistency in our production facilities and robust stitching of all polypropylene packaging across both sites. In conjunction with the new machinery we will be trialing the return of gussets to our Pool Salt and AgSalt bags. We will initially trial Premium Pool Salt in a slightly narrower, gusseted bag which we are confident will improve the stacking of pallets. If the trial is successful we will then transition all water treatment and AgSalt bags to this new size. The pallet configuration will remain the same 1.2MT = 60 x 20KG bags per pallet.
We welcome your feedback on the condition of all salt being unloaded at your sites. You can contact the sales team at [email protected]
